UCT RESEARCH REPORT 2012
the Faculty of Humanities, a suite of academic programmes
in library and information studies, ranging from the
Postgraduate Diploma in Library and Information Studies
to the PhD, with specialisation in academic and research
libraries, and public libraries. Its particular subject foci are in
impact analysis and assessment, and research librarianship.
Staff research interests range over a wide number of
important fields, ranging from the identification of skills
sets for different contexts to performance measurement.
